McKenzie and Spencer had a tasteful, industrial-style wedding at The Pointe in Louisville KY.
McKenzie and her bridesmaids as well as Spencer and his groomsmen, got ready at local Airbnbs. These properties were perfect settings and locations from The Pointe.
The entire wedding party arrived around at the The Pointe around 1:00pm where first look photos then took place in the Pointe’s industrial
The Pointe Wedding Ceremony
The wedding ceremony took place in The Atrium at The Pointe. This space has 18 foot ceilings with skylights, hardwood floors and exposed steel beams and rafters. We dressed this space up with a floral floor arch at the front of the aisle and place dark wood chairs for guests.
The exposed brick on the outside of the building and large industrial windows created a stunning backdrop for wedding photos.
The Pointe in Louisville KY Wedding Reception
Cocktail hour took place in the Skylight Room and the wedding reception was held in the Barrel Room. The Barrel Room has original inlaid hardwood floors, with large windows that run the length of one wall, 22 foot high ceilings with exposed steel beams and rafters.
The design was simple and tasteful since The Pointe already provided amazing backdrop. The mood was set with market lights and candles. We added greenery and fresh flowers to the centerpieces. We dressed the tables with white linen and dark brown chairs with white cushions. The design complimented the space perfectly.
We even repurposed the ceremony floor arch and placed it in front of the head table. It fit in seamlessly and was a great way to use this statement piece!
McKenzie and Spencer were thrilled with their wedding at The Point in Louisville KY. This venue set the perfect stage to begin a new chapter of their lives together!
