The Frazier History Museum, located on Main Street in downtown Louisville, is an architectural masterpiece that seamlessly merges the old and the new. Its stunning facade, a mix of modern glass and classic architecture, sets the stage for a memorable wedding day. Inside, the museum showcases Kentucky’s storied past through a variety of exhibits, making it a unique and captivating backdrop for your special day.
One of the most enchanting aspects of a Frazier History Museum wedding is its timeless elegance. With various event spaces available, couples can choose the perfect setting for their nuptials.
Natalie and Devin had multiple locations selected for key moments throughout the day. Their First Look took place in the “Order of the Writ” Room. The exposed brick was such a pretty backdrop.
The museum’s extensive collection of historical artifacts and exhibits provides unparalleled photo opportunities. Did you know The Frazier History Museum is the Official Starting Point of the Kentucky Bourbon Trail? It is! The Frazier History Museum is also home to The Spirit of Kentucky® exhibition celebrating the history, craft, and culture of Bourbon whiskey – America’s only native spirit. Natalie and Devin even chose to get a few snapshots at this exhibit as well.
Natalie and Devin had photos taken on the Rooftop Garden. With panoramic views of the Ohio River and the picturesque downtown Louisville skyline, it is one of the most beautiful views in Louisville!
Their Frazier History Museum wedding ceremony took place in the Fourth Floor Loft. With plenty of room for a ceremony, reception and bar it was a great location.
For this wedding design we kept the color palette neutral with subtle hints of pale pink and burgundy. The design was also classic with a hint of boho. Beautiful blue table linens anchored the large reception space beautifully.
We added white draping and greenery to the hanging ceiling pieces which turned out fantastic!
By choosing the Frazier History Museum as your wedding venue, you’re not only creating memories but also becoming a part of the museum’s own history. Your special day will forever be entwined with the stories and artifacts that have shaped Kentucky’s past, adding a unique layer of significance to your love story.
Natalie and Devin has the most amazing day at their Frazier History Museum wedding. Thank you to all the vendors who helped make this day incredible!
