The Perfect Kentucky Weekend
In the realm of wedding planning, the difference between ordinary and extraordinary often lies in the details. And when it comes to curating culinary delights that not only elevate the ambiance but give guests a sense of place (that place being Kentucky of course) — Apiary Fine Catering & Events stands out as a beacon of excellence.
Hunter and Jordan had their iconic wedding weekend with the Apiary Fine Catering & Event as the main highlight and incorporated additional Kentucky places and experiences to treat their friends and family to the perfect Kentucky weekend.
Nestled in the heart of Lexington, Apiary Fine Catering & Events has garnered a reputation for its impeccable service, exquisite cuisine, and meticulous attention to detail. The location of the main wedding venue allowed for Hunter and Jordan to build the Kentucky-inspired wedding weekend around it.
Hunter rented a beautiful and historic AirBnB called the Bourbon Hous where she had welcome bags for her bridal party as well as where she got ready with her bridesmaids and where the couple spent their wedding night. Jordan rented an equally stunning Airbnb called Top Shelf located above the 90-year-old Pepper Bourbon Distillery, (Talk about iconic historic Kentucky!) as a centralized meeting point for his groomsmen throughout the weekend.
The day before the wedding, Hunter and Jordan treated their wedding party to a fun afternoon at Keeneland for an afternoon of horse races. For those who have never experienced a day at the track, it’s the perfect experience for a wedding weekend in Kentucky.
Hunter and Jordan had access to the venue the day before which is an amazing bonus when renting Apiary Fine Catering & Events. They were able to have their rehearsal on site at their leisure. The rehearsal dinner took place at the upscale Jeff Ruby’s restaurant with impeccable food and classic interior design. It was a great place to set the tone for the weekend and foreshadow what was to come.
Apiary Fine Catering & Events Wedding Day
Hunter and Jordan’s wedding day at Apiary was nothing short of perfection. From the blooming gardens on the property, the endless gorgeous backdrops for photos and of course one of the hallmarks of Apiary Fine Catering & Events commitment to sourcing local ingredients. By partnering with regional farmers, growers, and purveyors, you’re ensuring your guests are getting a true taste of the best of Kentucky.
Towards the end of the reception a late night food truck was brought in to top off the end of the evening before friends and family headed to Bourbon Hous for the after party.
Hunter and Jordan’s iconic Kentucky wedding weekend could not have happened without Apiary Fine Catering & Events. Thanks to their central location, impeccable service, attention to detail and for having such a great team to work with this wedding weekend was perfect!
