Lovely The Mane on Main Wedding

Real Weddings

With Jordan originally from Boston and Sean from West Virginia, when they decided to have their The Mane on Main wedding in the heart of Kentucky they wanted to showcase what they love about this state with their family and friends. Many of the guests had never had the opportunity to visit Kentucky before this trip, so it was important that we have a weekend of wedding festivities featuring the best Lexington has to offer.

The weekend kicked off with a Friday afternoon Keeneland Tailgate.  The tailgate featured a Kentucky themed menu including a yummy biscuit bar full of all the toppings, and a local beverage selection.

After a day of fun at the track, the Groom’s parent’s hosted an elegant indoor/outdoor Rehearsal Dinner & Welcome Party in the Mansion at the Marriott Griffin Gate.

Upon arrival at their hotel, the guests were welcomed by fully customized welcome boxes, made by the Bride’s Mother, complete with Jordan and Sean’s favorite treats brought from their home states.

Jordan & Sean’s wedding at The Mane on Main was centered around their people. Their large bridal party was made up of friends and family from across the US. Their ceremony was personal and ended not only with a kiss, but a high five, their signature move. On their way from the ceremony to the reception, the bridal party detoured to Manchester Music Hall, the place where Jordan and Sean met, to grab a photo. The reception began with a live jazz quartet playing and then transitioned to the fantastic Downtown Band from Nashville, TN who brought the party and had the entire group dancing up until the end.

In the theme of celebrating with those around them, Jordan & Sean invited Jordan’s grandparents to share in their first dance to celebrate their milestone wedding anniversary.  And did you catch Jordan’s grandmother’s sparkle keds?  Those were a personal favorite of mine.

Jordan and Sean’s weekend celebrated who they are both as individuals and as a couple and united those closest to them from across the country at the heart of the bluegrass.

Huge thanks to the incredible wedding professional team that made this weekend possible!
