Stone tower winery weddings are a stunning retreat for those interested in this part of the country. Surrounded by rolling hills, extensive vineyards, a seemingly perfect manicured property, and sunsets that will make your jaw drop – Stone Tower Winery is a great option for both a local and destination wedding venue.
Alison and Joe’s wedding at Stone Tower Winery took place on a beautiful summer day last August. The day began perfectly. The wedding party at Stone Tower Winery get access to the on property wedding suite called “The Farmhouse.” The Farmhouse is available starting at 9am the morning of your wedding.
Overnight accommodations for both the wedding party and guests were at the Lansdowne Resort which was only 20 minutes away. There are also a variety of other accommodation options throughout the area as well!
The rooms in the house were bright and airy which are ideal for bridal photos!
The exterior is picturesque with white siding, blue shutters, a bright red front door, and lush landscaping. It was the perfect spot to get hair and makeup done, have lunch, hangout and get first look photos for the bride and groom.
A Stone Tower Winery wedding gets four ceremony options to choose from: Hillside, Pond, Ballroom or Tank Room. All ceremony sites can accommodate up to 250 guests. Alison and Joe chose the Hillside location that overlooked the property, rolling hills and vineyards (pictured below).
The Pond location is located near the pond on their property. If you look at the photo below, you can see the ceremony location to the left of the pond. The Ballroom location is where Alison and Joe had their reception which you’ll see in photos below and The Tank room is a double story room with steel tanks on one side, barrels on the other and large windows. You can see a photo of the Tank room here.
I personally loved the Hillside location because it was stunning from all angles. Sometimes there are certain angles that get overlooked and when captured it’s not the best background. For example sometimes when the bride is walking down the aisle, the background is a parking lot or something that is not meant to be photographed. This location however is beautiful as you can see, the background is filled with grapevines and planted flowers.
Due to the size of the property and grounds at Stone Tower Winery the wedding photo options were pretty mush endless. Alison and Joe took advantage of all the vineyard options on the property.
The sunset at Stone Tower Winery was absolutely insane. The sky lit up with rainbow hues as you can see. The setting was incredibly idyllic.
Cocktail hour took place along the outdoor patio just outside the Ballroom. The location overlooked the property and was the perfect background for guests to enjoy.
The reception was held in the Ballroom. (This room was the other ceremony location site mentioned above). This room was beautiful on its own. We wanted our design to look like an extension of the room and the property.
Stone Tower Winery offers furniture like couches, ceremony seating, tables and chairs included in their wedding packages which is always a huge bonus!
