Holly and Gabe’s stunning fall wedding took place at The Wilds wedding venue just outside of Indianapolis, Indiana.
The Wilds Wedding Venue
The Wilds wedding venue is located on a beautiful 125 acre stretch of farmland filled with large trees, rolling meadows, “The Farm” with goats and chickens, and even a small pond on site. The property is equally welcoming as it is stunning.
The Wilds is conveniently located just ten minutes from Bloomington, Indiana, or a short drive from Indianapolis. The location feels remote and spacious while also allowing easy accessibility for vendors and overnight accommodations.
This wedding venue has a large modern event barn with a statement fireplace, covered pavilion, outdoor patio, and even an on-site bridal suite. It was the perfect setting for Holly and Gabe.
Holly and Gabe’s Wedding Day at The Wilds Wedding Venue
The day began in the morning when Holly and her bridesmaids met at the bridal suite at The Wilds. Gabe and his groomsmen hung out and got ready at an Airbnb not too far away.
The bridal suite was perfect for Holly and her bridesmaids to relax and enjoy the process of getting ready without moving to multiple different locations. The bridal suite had hair and makeup stations and was well decorated with floral wallpaper, natural light, and vintage bridal photos on display.
Wedding Photos
The first look took place in a secluded area on the property that provided both a natural and neutral backdrop filled with Fall colors in tall grasses and trees. Holly, her bouquet, and Gabe stood out beautifully against the earthy backdrop.
The Wilds wedding venue had no shortage of backdrops that Holly and Gabe took full advantage of. The bridal party took photos in the grassy meadows and in front of the wedding venue’s front doors. The groomsmen took photos tucked in the forest under the golden light of the fall trees.
The bride and groom took wedding portraits on the main driveway of The Wilds wedding venue as well as by the small pond on the property. All the trees and grasses were the perfect shade of auburn and yellow and brown providing stunning photo opportunities.
The Ceremony
The ceremony took place under the covered pavilion at The Wilds wedding venue. The pavilion had a large wooden pergola with the background as Yellowwood Forest.
The space is beautiful on its own, but we added fresh flowers to the entrance of the aisle and dressed the pergola altar with floral and draping.
The setting was stunning.
The Reception
The reception took place in the main event barn at The Wilds wedding venue. The barn had a white canvas allowing the wood beams and fireplace to stand out. There were large floor-to-ceiling windows providing plenty of natural light. There were also modern elements with iron fixtures and concrete floors.
We were able to utilize wooden farm tables provided by the The Wilds wedding venue. These tables matched the barn beautifully and was such a convenience. We dressed the tables with fresh flowers, black tapered candles, and gold accents.
We accented the fireplace, cake table and seating chart with plenty of red flowers and greenery. The light barn allowed for our darker design elements to stand out in a beautiful way.
The bride and groom exited from their wedding in a white antique car. The car stood out against the fall foliage in the background. It was a very picturesque moment.
Holly and Gabe’s wedding at The Wilds wedding venue was stunning and full of the love.
A big thank you to all of the vendors that made this day unforgettable for Holly and Gabe! We loved being Holly and Gabe’s Indianapolis wedding planners!
